Fuimos al restaurante y todo muy rico, ya sea los panuchos o salbutes de cochinita o relleno negro, huevos al gusto, hotcakes, pescado empanizado, todo delicioso y a muy buen precio, área con aire acondicionado. Hemos comido aqui varias veces, totalmente recomendable.
If your idea is to be outside and visiting places, you must go to this hotel, cheap and it is like 50 meters away from the Cathedral
El hotel es bueno para su precio lo único malo es el restaurante para el precio que tiene esperaba algo mejor, Pedimos un pollo con papas y las papas parecía que las contaban si me echaron 10 fueron muchas da más MCD's pero el hotel y los que atienden excelente servicio, el WiFi no agarra muy bien pero todo fine
I have lots of Merida videos on my YouTube channel DougP Vlogs. Hotel San Jose is an absolutely great hotel. Located just a few meters from Plaza Grande in downtown Merida. This is a simple hotel with large hight ceiling rooms and comfortable beds, No a/c (and not needed) just a ceiling fan. The room rate and location can not be beat. Lots of hot water but the internet is slow.

Es un hotel humilde, de precio muy accesible y económico. Si uno busca algo sencillo ni muy pretencioso el cual solo se necesitará para dormir a pesar de estar todo el tiempo afuera, este es el lugar adecuado. Lo genial es que a pesar del recio se encuentra céntrico a la zona y puedes moverte con mayor facilidad por donde uno lo requiera. Las habitaciones cuentan con lo básico, hay con aire acondicionado y/o con ventiladores, Internet, TV, etc. de acuerdo a lo que uno necesite a su presupuesto. Hay restaurante el cual se encuentra a la entrada del hotel y sirve tanto comunes como regionales. La atención es respetuosa y servicial.
This is the budget place to stay IF you don't mind not having air conditioning. It's breakfast would do a place charging twice as much credit. It's location is very convenient for seeing old Merida. Staff are friendly. Oh and for us the shower was hot, so whatever was wrong with the hot water is now put right.
Nice receptionist didn't charge me extra. Hot shower water. Electric plugs are near the beds. Two beds in every room.
Cheap place to stay, you get what you pay for. The restaurant in the bottom was decent. The best thing about this hotel is the location as it is a two minute walk to the center.
